Universal Banker (Culpeper South Branch)

About the role

Branch Delivery is responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent client experiences across branch locations while ensuring operational excellence and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements. Activities include managing day-to-day branch service operations, supporting client transactions, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all frontline banking activities, coaching and supporting branch teams to meet performance expectations, implementing process improvements that strengthen service delivery, and monitoring operational controls to reduce risk and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process routine banking transactions at teller window or on the platform under minimal supervision
• Provide flexibility of coverage for the branch
• Engage in a broad range of sales and service activities to provide a superior level of customer service
• Open new accounts
• Handle teller transactions
• Market and cross-sell bank products and services
• Resolve complex customer service issues
• Utilize banking knowledge to identify additional sales and service opportunities
• Build rapport to engage prospects in a banking relationship and enhance existing customer relationships
• Refer customers to other banking services and other bank personnel as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience; may require vocational or technical education
• Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience
• May require vocational or technical training
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 30 lbs
• Possess or be able to obtain an NMLS registration

Pay

Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Certain positions may be eligible for incentive compensation, bonuses, or other variable compensation, subject to applicable plans and performance criteria.
