Universal Banker

Key Responsibilities

• Open new accounts, business accounts, share certificates, IRAs, and specialty products.
• Initiate consumer loan applications and refer mortgage and commercial lending opportunities.
• Affiliate members with online and mobile banking support.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, account maintenance, disputes, and stop payments.
• Servicing and maintaining credit cards.
• Promoting products and services that meet member needs.
• Balancing cash drawer and maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting branch operations in a dual-control capacity.
• Following security, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new team members.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of branch banking, credit union, or retail financial services experience.
• Previous Senior Teller, Universal Banker, or Lead Teller experience preferred.
• Notary Public certification required or ability to obtain.
• Credit union experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BSA, Reg CC, Reg E, and other banking regulations.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and member service skills.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, branch-based position that may require Saturday hours based on branch scheduling needs.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00 per hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. Your final base pay will be determined based on skills, education, and experience.
