About the role
The Boeing Center Program Coordinator II supports schools in implementing evidence-based wellness strategies through the MUSC Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness (BCCW) initiative. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation of wellness policies, engaging community partners, and managing communications.
Responsibilities
- Initiative Implementation: Implement MUSC BCCW school wellness initiative in assigned school districts, providing support for wellness policy implementation and monitoring.
- Community Engagement: Attend local and statewide meetings, establish and maintain partnerships, and represent MUSC BCCW on planning committees and coalitions.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Oversee communications with various constituencies, manage relationships with schools, district staff, and community partners.
- Trainings and Presentations: Plan and conduct in-person and virtual trainings on evidence-based wellness strategies.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Compile initiative results and outcomes, support the creation of the MUSC BCCW Impact Report, and maintain detailed records in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant program experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform job functions in various positions, including upright, seated, walking, and working indoors/outdoors.
Qualifications
- Experience in program management and community engagement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of school wellness policies and chronic disease prevention.
