About the role

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking applications for the position of Division Chief for the Division of Pre-Doctoral Prosthodontics in the College of Dental Medicine, Department of Reconstructive and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the Pre-Doctoral Digital Dentistry Clinic, Removable Prosthodontics Clinic and the Implant Prosthodontics Clinic.
• Works collaboratively within all disciplines of the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine with a primary focus in digital workflows for Pre-Doctoral Prosthodontics.

Requirements

• Holds a DDS or DMD degree.
• Graduated from a Prosthodontics Residency program with preference for individuals who are board eligible or certified.
• Experience in educational innovation, use of technology in education and computer skills.
• Preference given to those with previous leadership, teaching and research experience.
• South Carolina Dental License or qualify for a teaching license.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified physically (by medical personnel) for respirator use, initially and annually.
• Must be able to maintain a valid drivers license.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
