About the role

The Medical University of South Carolina offers a one-year non-ACGME fellowship/junior faculty (Clinical Instructor) position in Breast Imaging starting July 1, 2027. The fellowship is centered on Breast Imaging and will be conducted at the MUSC Hospital/Hollings Cancer Center and MUSCP affiliated sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical work and training in Breast Imaging
• Work closely with referring physicians to ensure appropriate studies are performed
• Participate in resident and medical student teaching
• Encourage and support research interests

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Completion of 4-year radiology residency program
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology
• Able to obtain a permanent (unrestricted) South Carolina medical license prior to the start of the fellowship

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job functions in an upright, seated, and mobile position
• Good finger dexterity, tactile sensory functions, and visual acuity
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to perform gross and fine motor functions
