This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU and is open to internal candidates not in the ratified Bargaining Unit or external candidates.
Schedule
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Hours: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week
- Weekend requirements: As needed
- On-call: Not required
Pay
Hourly pay range: $25.00 – $33.48 (Minimum: $25.00, Midpoint: $28.29, Maximum: $33.48)
Responsibilities
- Performs primary clerical and other duties as assigned under the direction of the RN on the nursing units.
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit-based safety and infection control requirements.
- Facilitates unit communication, including telephone and answering patient call lights.
- Maintains unit supplies.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous clerical experience required.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and charting abbreviations.
- 1 year of healthcare and/or hospital unit secretary experience (preferred).
- Certificate from a recognized Unit Secretary course (desirable).
