Essential Duties
- Oversight of the TMS office and station training department
- Administrative duties to include daily/weekly/monthly reports relating to staffing, workman’s compensation, dependability, airport badge accountability, and mandatory training documentation
- Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, promotions
- Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities
- Represent organization at worker’s compensation hearings and investigations
- Maintain all work schedules, vacation schedules, payroll processing, and corrective action for dependability
- Cook off non-compliant behavior and impose disciplinary action as required
- Understand the corporate culture, policies, and goals, and take measures to implement these into daily work routines
- Coach and provide career development to the staff
Job Qualifications And Competencies
- Previous experience in a busy office environment
- Proven success as a team leader with ability to preplan
- Able to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
- Able to defuse conflicts among team members and administer corrective action as necessary
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience with internal controls processes for accountable items
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous management experience in an airport hub environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
- Familiarity with Roster Apps
- Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation Guidelines and Processes
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
Work Environment
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment. Some travel may be required. Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels. All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts.
