About the role
We are seeking a Unit Manager - RN to oversee a nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care that meets clinical standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing
- Participating in developing and evaluating patient care plans
- Mentoring and educating nursing staff
- Serving as a resource for quality assurance
- Overseeing medication management
- Providing direct patient care
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 2-3 years of nursing experience
- One year of leadership experience
- Current licensure
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to mentor staff
