About the role
Responsible for overseeing nursing care on a designated unit to ensure high-quality, cost-effective healthcare aligned with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing and safe care delivery.
- Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to achieve clinical goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
- Mentor and educate nursing staff, working with physicians and medical professionals.
- Oversee medication management, ensuring proper handling and supplies.
- Provide direct patient care to maintain clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active state license.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in nurse leadership.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
