Unit Educator
About the role
The Unit Educator at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) supports the organization's mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. They work closely with the Director of Education and the Nurse Manager to identify learning needs, implement education programs, and evaluate outcomes to ensure competency.
Responsibilities
- Identify learning needs and implement education programs
- Evaluate outcomes to ensure competency
- Serve as a mentor/consultant to staff in the utilization of the nursing process
- Be a role model to staff in practice/process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- Current New Hampshire (NH) license as a professional registered nurse required
- Three to five years of experience in nursing and currently working full time at NRHN
- Trained and recertified every two years in CPR
- CPR instructor obtained within one year of employment
