Unit Coordinator position at University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a full-time role with a schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, totaling 36 hours per week.
About the role
As the heartbeat of our department’s administrative operations, you’ll be the master of coordination—handling requests, assisting staff, patients, and visitors, and keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine. You’ll maintain spreadsheets, track logs, and craft reports that turn numbers into actionable insights. You’ll also serve as the trusted right-hand to our Department Director and Clinical Team Manager, helping keep our team on the path to success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a unit clerk or in a medical support role
- Knowledge of medical terminology or relevant coursework
