About the Hospital

West Henderson Hospital is the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System, located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. This 150-bed facility is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs, offering the following services:

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of activities in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties. Also performs patient care and service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and certification
  • Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served

Shift: Full-time nights
