Unit Controller 2
SodexoMAGIC is seeking an Unit Controller 2 for the Morehouse College account in the Atlanta metro area. The ideal candidate will have full oversight of the unit's financials and partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.

Join a high-impact finance team where you'll oversee the financial operations of one or more client accounts, ensuring accuracy in reporting, budgeting, and compliance. In this role, you’ll analyze trends, support audits, and guide decision-making that drives operational success and client satisfaction. The role focuses on completing specific tasks and projects as an individual contributor, performing specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, but may collaborate with a team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to financial planning by analyzing budget trends and preparing projections that support strategic goals
- Lead or support audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for process improvement
- Deliver insightful reporting and ad hoc analysis to guide unit and regional leadership
- Train teams on internal controls, system tools, and financial best practices to strengthen performance
- Support billing, receivables, and client financial relations to maintain strong partnerships and smooth operations
- Assist in closing activities and ensure financial integrity at the unit and district level
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial procedures, enhancing accuracy and efficiency across accounts
Requirements
- Skillset to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities and priorities with strong organizational skills
- Solid analytical mindset with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Essbase is a plus
- Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and present insights to stakeholders
- Capacity to maintain core financial operations while contributing to broader departmental projects and initiatives
- Detail-oriented approach to auditing, reporting, and process improvement within a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
Pay
$27.05 per hour - $35.01 per hour
