About the Role
We are seeking a high-energy, organized, and compassionate Unit Clerk to serve as the administrative heartbeat of our unit. In this full-time first-shift role, you will welcome new residents, coordinate communication, and support clinical teams to ensure top-quality care and smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Resident Onboarding: Greet new residents, assist with admission paperwork, and help families acclimate to the facility.
- Resident Advocacy: Conduct follow-ups with new admissions to ensure a seamless, positive transition.
- Communication Hub: Manage incoming calls, electronic communications, and in-person inquiries from families, staff, and external healthcare partners.
- Unit Support: Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to address resident needs promptly.
- Professional Standards: Maintain strict confidentiality, exercise sound independent judgment, and interact professionally with visitors and state agencies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency for data entry and communication systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a high-volume setting.
- Flexibility: Ability to maintain a flexible weekday schedule based on facility needs.
