About the role
We are seeking an RN or LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at Avantara Saint Cloud. This position is a treatment nurse role, assisting other nurses and supporting tasks like order entry, assessments, family and physician contacts, care conferences, documentation, and overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Assistance to other nurses
- Order entry
- Auxiliary assessments
- Contacting families and physicians
- Attending care conferences
- Documentation follow-up
- Oversight of C.N.A's
- Performing skin treatments
- Obtaining treatment orders from physicians
- Developing treatment care plans
- Performing resident assessments
- Providing detailed charting and progress notes
Requirements
- Unencumbered South Dakota RN/LPN license
- C.P.R certification
- One year of RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Memory Care facility

Schedule
Typically day time hours, 8-hour shifts. Primary schedule is Monday- Friday with possible weekend coverage as needed.
