Unit Charge Treatment Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking an RN or LPN Charge Nurse to join our team in a treatment nurse position. This role involves assisting with order entry, assessments, family and physician contact, attending care conferences, documentation follow-up, and overseeing C.N.A's to ensure residents receive the highest quality of care. This is a daytime position with 8-hour shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, with possible weekend coverage as needed.

Avantara Saint Cloud is a complete memory care and locked facility with 78 beds, offering opportunities for career growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin treatments for residents.
• Obtain treatment orders from physicians.
• Assist in developing treatment care plans.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Provide detailed charting and progress notes.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and safe through your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.
• Oversee C.N.A's to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements

• Unencumbered State of South Dakota RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and/or a Memory Care facility.
