About the role
The Resident Care Coordinator (RCM) oversees patient care, implements and coordinates services, and manages nursing and certified nursing assistant staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and implement patient care through interpersonal contact with patients, families, nursing staff, and others.
- Manage and coordinate patient care and services.
- Prepare and administer medication as ordered by a physician.
- Coordinate patient care plans and services.
- Evacuate patients as needed.
- Communicate effectively and work productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State with an active RN license in good standing.
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge in field of practice.
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility.
- Proficient in implementing and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.

Pay
- $48.00 - $58.07 per hour DOE.
- Sign-on bonus of $7,500.
