About the role
Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area. Greet patients, visitors, and new admissions. Answer general inquiries and schedule patients for appointments. Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care. Assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
