About the role

Join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in a suburban, community hospital setting. This position offers the best of both worlds — a clinical role in a beautiful suburban area along with academic access to world-renowned colleagues conducting translational research in IBD, pancreaticobiliary diseases, hepatology, functional and pain disorders, nutrition deficits, digestive system cancer risk, endoscopic management of GI cancers, and women’s digestive health.

Responsibilities

• 3 full lab days per week
• Flexible clinic hours with full or part-time options
• Ability to customize practice/schedule (e.g., trade a 3rd lab day for academic pursuits at the University)
• Opportunity to teach family medicine residents and medical students
• Assume a large panel of patients and strong referral base immediately
