Union Lead Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for leading and supervising a team of mechanics in the maintenance and repair of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Train and mentor team members in technical skills and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
