UNION FOOD UNIT LEAD (FULL TIME)

Job Summary

Captures the essence of the role by coordinating activities of other food-service employees and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by attending to customer needs personally.
• Oversees and participates in food and beverage preparation and service, adhering to company standards.
• Plans menus and assists in meal service coordination.
• Ensures timely and efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Responds to customer complaints promptly, both in person and via email.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to enhance efficiency and excellence.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and manages workflow.
• Completes required reports accurately, including inventory, cash, production, payroll, and timekeeping.
• Manages cash handling according to the Food Accounting Manual.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources or purveyors.
• Directs and participates in maintaining a clean and safe facility and employee practices.
• Develops and enforces a sanitation schedule and ensures compliance by food-service employees.
• Issues instructions and conducts staff training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in food and customer service, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience working in a food service environment, particularly at Dunkin Donuts, is a plus.

Fixed Pay Rate

$22.47 per hour
