About the role

This position prepares, handles, and supplies materials for use by other crafts. You will provide work direction and guidance to Laborer I, II, Helpers, and Apprentices while building relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload equipment
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging
  • Level ground for scaffolding
  • Tend mortar and grout
  • Lift, unload, move, set, and shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets
  • General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading or burning debris
  • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete
  • Vibrate concrete
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program
  • Experience in construction preferred
  • Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
  • Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills
  • Detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback
  • Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs (over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment)

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $44.49 - $53.48 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.

Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B, O-1, TN, CPT, OPT).
