Pay
$29.70 per hour. Benefits are provided in accordance with the location’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
Key Purpose
Welcome all guests and make them feel happy they came. Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, and teas. Serve ready-to-eat foods including pastries, muffins, biscotti, bagels, sandwiches, and salads. Always serve guests with a caring and happy attitude.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to all shifts in proper uniform (non-slip shoes and name tag) with a professional appearance.
- Provide outstanding hospitality and ask for help when needed.
- Set up, clean, and sanitize all equipment and work/service areas.
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages (coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas).
- Order, receive, stock, and rotate supplies and retail products.
- Operate cash register and self-service kiosks; maintain accurate product inventory.
- Greet, serve, and make customers feel welcome.
- Complete HACCP documentation to ensure safe temperature control.
- Display merchandise attractively; weigh, grind, or pack coffee beans for customers.
- Stock, clean, and organize coolers; label and display signs for all items.
- Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and a consistently positive attitude.
- Dependable, reliable, and able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to keep equipment clean and in good working order.
- Ability to remain calm under busy working conditions.
- Commitment to guest experience and safety-first mindset.
- Willingness to take direction from the Chef, Front of the House Manager, and Catering Manager.
- Build respectful relationships with teammates, guests, and delivery vendors.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for periods of 7 hours.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak periods.
- Must offer outstanding hospitality for the entire shift.
