Unified Communications Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Unified Communications Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite position. This role supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical voice, video, and networking solutions within a secure environment. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Perform system firmware and hardware upgrades to deliver high-quality Unified Communications services to the workforceAnalyze program metrics, ensure schedule compliance with customer guidelines, and recommend corrective actionsIdentify operational risks and present structured mitigation recommendations to managementSolve operational voice and video challenges and diagnose/resolve issues with vendor-specific video teleconferencing systemsInterface directly with cybersecurity teams to satisfy requirements, track POAMs, and maintain system certificationsPlan, evaluate, and coordinate local and remote voice/data communications equipment installationsSchedule and perform periodic system patching and maintenance to ensure RMF complianceProvide converged Voice/VTC solutions in MS Windows LAN/WAN environments Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of Voice over IP (VoIP) or Video Teleconferencing (VTC) system implementation experienceExperience implementing multi-vendor VoIP and VTC products in RMF environmentsExperience with DHCP and DNS configurationCurrent CCNA certificationCurrent IAT level II certification, ex., Security+Current IAT level III certification (SecurityX or CASP+), or be willing to obtain within 6 months of hireExperience designing and implementing Voice or Video Quality of Service (QoS) solutions and using core Cisco tools, ex., Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Prime, TMS, CMS, or ESX Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in a technical disciplineCCNP Collaboration certificationPossess ITIL Foundations CertificationDemonstrated experience working in a SAP environment as a Unified Communications Engineer Clearance Requirements Must have current or active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityMust be eligible to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) Physical Requirements The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
