About the role
The Department of Mental Health is looking for someone to join our team as a full-time grant program administrator for the department's projects under Vermont's Rural Health Transformation Program, a multi-year federally funded cooperative agreement. The main purpose of the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program is to support rural communities to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and management of RHT Program projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Develop and maintain project documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to project partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare administration or program management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with grant writing and management
- Knowledge of healthcare policy and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
