About the role
The UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellows Programme is a Federal Government of Nigeria youth empowerment partnership project backed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aimed at alleviating the development impact of rising national unemployment and underemployment rates. The programme aims to deploy 20,000 highly trained Nigerian youngsters across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Deployed to commercial and public sector organizations of diverse types, sizes, and industries.
- Participate in a 12-month, fully funded program.
- Develop leadership abilities.
- Transfer on-the-job talents.
Requirements
- Nigerian citizen.
- Fresh graduate (Bachelor’s Degree or HND Certificate) from any discipline, graduated not earlier than 2017.
- Graduated with at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) for Bachelor’s Degree or Upper Credit (> 3.00) for HND Certificate holders.
- No older than 30 years old.
- Not currently employed.
- Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field.
- Demonstrate commitment to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
- Able to manage time effectively and maintain a professional attitude.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
