Underwriting Managing Director

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applicants and correlate all aspects of risk
• Coach and develop Underwriting Consultants and Senior Consultants
• Handle additional underwriting requirements and perform risk selection
• Finalize cases and oversee second-sign duties when needed
• Adhere to schedules and meet productivity, quality, and performance standards

Qualifications

• 10 - 12+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience
• 5+ years of team management experience in an Underwriting capacity
• Able to handle advanced decision level authorities ($15 Million or higher)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret information for others
• Ability to develop goals and prioritize work

Compensation

$152,370 – $186,230 annually
