Underwriting Director, Ocean Cargo

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of Ocean Cargo underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with all internal and external business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to think analytically about business problems and make recommendations.
• Resilience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Solid time, organizational, and desk management skills.
• Goal-oriented and able to deliver outcomes.
• Superior technical knowledge and sound decision-making and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license as a company pool car may be provided for territory travel.

Pay

The listed annualized base pay range is $140,000 - $210,000.

Schedule

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the New York, NY or Alpharetta, GA office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
