Underwriting Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Support underwriters with day-to-day account management and policy administration
  • Aid in new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy issuance
  • Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare underwriting files, schedules, and internal reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely processing
  • Maintain accurate records within underwriting systems and databases
  • Offer general administrative and analytical support to the underwriting team

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and underwriting systems
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
