Underwriter Cyber

For our client, we are seeking a Underwriter Cyber to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will focus on evaluating cyber risk, building a profitable portfolio, and supporting new and renewal business in a fast-moving specialty insurance environment. You will work closely with producers to gather information, structure coverage, and deliver timely underwriting decisions that align with established guidelines. The position also involves tracking market trends and sharing insights that help strengthen the team's approach to risk selection and growth. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Curate a profitable business portfolio in accordance with underwriting guidelines Evaluate and classify risks to establish coverage standards Achieve premium income goals for new and renewal business Foster relationships with assigned producers Gather necessary information for quoting and binding accounts Generate and manage underwriting correspondence Stay updated on market dynamics and communicate intelligence to the team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, or a related field preferred Professional certifications such as CPCU or AU are advantageous 0-5 years of underwriting experience Solid understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Unlimited paid time off (PTO) 401(k) plan with company match Paid volunteer days A supportive environment for new ideas Opportunities for professional growth and community impact Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
