Role Description

Evaluate merchant applications using multiple underwriting tools to identify credit, fraud, and reputational risk. Apply a methodical approach to analyze data, draw clear conclusions, and prepare written summaries in accordance with department procedures. Maintain accurate records of all underwriting reviews. Communicate and collaborate effectively with sales partners, merchants, and colleagues. Work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced underwriting environment. Other Duties as Assigned.

Required

• 2+ years of experience in payments processing underwriting or payment processing risk
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Experience reviewing KYC and KYB documentation across all risk levels
• Strong ability to make risk-based decisions and work independently
• Demonstrate proactive critical thinking skills with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy, sound judgment, and diligence

Preferred

• Exposure to systems such as GIACT, G2, Mastercard Match, Zendesk, and TSYS
• Experience using a CRM platform
