Underground Transmission Staff/Researcher 1
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical searches and analyze technical information in support of the project team.
- Assist with research activities as directed by the project or task manager, including data collection, testing support, and documentation.
- Compile findings and contribute to technical reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
- Collaborate with EPRI technical staff and, as needed, interact administratively with EPRI members.
Requirements
- Education & Knowledge: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material Science preferred. Foundational understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles. Ability to analyze technical information and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
- Ideal Candidate Interest: Interest or prior experience in power engineering or transmission. Fundamental knowledge of electricity. Experience analyzing data and composing reports or summarizing from findings. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established technical procedures. Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative, research-focused environment.

- Salary Range: $73,000 USD to $78,000 USD annually.
