- Underground Material Requisitioner/Expediter
The successful candidate will work with facility planning, scheduling, and procurement to obtain and stage materials/supplies required to perform Underground facility corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as administrative supplies, furniture, and electronics. This function will be required to initiate purchase requisitions and execute credit card orders.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of related experience, or
- Associate’s degree with seven (7) years of related experience, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalency with eleven (11) years of related experience is required.
Must have demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are mandatory. Must be 18 years of age. Must be authorized to work and remain in the United States without SIMCO visa sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the WIPP Site (even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge).
Preferred Requirements
- Preference given to candidates with experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (especially CHAMPS).
- Previous WIPP Project experience is a plus.
