About the role

Participants in our Undergraduate Internship Program have numerous opportunities to explore the workings of the criminal justice system. Interns will be encouraged to observe court proceedings and interact with our staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting prosecutors with case files, discussion of cases, courtroom shadowing
  • Aiding with managing discovery and information processing requests
  • Possibly conducting short research and writing assignments
  • Filing, shredding, archiving, maintaining lists and databases
  • Answering phones and performing other clerical support duties

Requirements

Successful candidates should be motivated and able to work on a variety of projects. Prospective interns should have strong communication and interpersonal skills; display a sincere interest in exploring a career in the law or criminal justice; and must be eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
