Part-time adjunct instructor position for the Fall 2026 semester in the School of Education.
About the role
Teach the undergraduate/graduate level course STEM Methods: Math, which serves students across teacher education and NOYCE programs. The course will meet in person.
Responsibilities
- Teach weekly classes.
- Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and the School of Education program evaluation system.
- Maintain and submit accurate, current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance.
- Maintain a student-oriented approach to education.
- Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (required).
- Substantial progress toward a terminal degree (preferred).
- Experience with higher education or K–12 education.
- Successful record of teaching mathematics in upper elementary, middle, or high school.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Doctorate (preferred), or
- Master’s degree plus experience in the field of education.
