Part-time adjunct instructor position for the Fall 2026 semester in the School of Education.

About the role

Teach the undergraduate/graduate level course STEM Methods: Math, which serves students across teacher education and NOYCE programs. The course will meet in person.

Responsibilities

• Teach weekly classes.
• Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and the School of Education program evaluation system.
• Maintain and submit accurate, current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance.
• Maintain a student-oriented approach to education.
• Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (required).
• Substantial progress toward a terminal degree (preferred).
• Experience with higher education or K–12 education.
• Successful record of teaching mathematics in upper elementary, middle, or high school.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (preferred), or
• Master’s degree plus experience in the field of education.
