The Adjunct Faculty Role

Adjunct Faculty Training

All new faculty teaching online must successfully complete onboarding training as a condition of hire.

Required Education

  • A master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the academic field.
  • Extensive professional experience in a related field.
  • Meeting minimum technology requirements available at this link.
  • Previous experience teaching online at the university level.

Schedule

Adjunct faculty members are expected to travel to Detroit, Michigan once every eight weeks per course (subject to change).

Pay

Salary is determined based on the number of credit hours taught and the number of students registered for the class being taught. Candidates are required to provide official transcripts during the selection process.
