Unarmed Security Officer - WEEKENDS REQUIRED - Swing Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities
• Control access points and monitor surveillance systems
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
• Operate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidents
• Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents
• Collaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
• Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assets
• Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requests
• Conduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff members

Requirements

• Current Guard Card
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols
• Able to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of time
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
