Unarmed Security Officer

Position Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will maintain a safe, orderly environment at assigned client locations. Duties vary by site and include access control, patrol, monitoring, and incident documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned premises through regular foot patrols and observation
• Enforce site-specific rules and standard operating procedures
• Document incidents, hazards, and any unusual activity accurately
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Maintain accurate logs and submit daily activity reports

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• An Illinois PERC Card and 20-Hour Certificate are required to begin work (we help you obtain these)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• The ability to remain calm and professional in all situations is crucial
• A clean background check and drug screening are required
