Join our team at a high‑volume distribution and warehouse facility as an Unarmed Security Officer. You’ll play a critical role protecting people, property, and high‑value products, performing device checks, dock monitoring, metal detector and X‑ray screening, rover patrols, and high‑value load tracking. The site demands the highest professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Schedule

• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Work Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Days Off: Saturday, Sunday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Full‑Time
• Starting Pay: $17.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices; verify IMEI on phones matches provided sticker or paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts; open/close dock doors; track outbound trucks; count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor open dock doors during loading; monitor special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks; monitor special projects during peak season; send/receive emails; type truck information; monitor open dock doors; open/close dock doors.
• Metal Detector / X‑Ray: Check devices in/out — only approved devices with sticker or paperwork allowed; ensure visitors clear through X‑ray; watch X‑ray machine for prohibited items.
• Rover: Walk throughout the area to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Track all high‑value loads via computer software.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Texas Non‑Commissioned Security License (required)
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Commitment to the posted schedule: Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (considered a plus)
