Unarmed Security Officer

About the role

Join our team at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility as an Unarmed Security Officer, where you’ll play a critical role in protecting people, property, and high-value products. You will be responsible for rover patrols, gatehouse and front desk access control, device checks, dock monitoring, metal detector and X-ray screening, and tracking high-value loads. The position is located in Hazelton Mills, PA (commutable from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas). The site is a secure, high-volume facility requiring the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and excellent work ethics.

Schedule

• Shift: 3rd Shift
• Work Days: Saturday through Wednesday
• Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days Off: Thursday, Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay

Starting at $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greet residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages.
• Device Check: Scanning tag on the back of approved employee devices. Reading persons IMEI on phone making sure it matches the sticker or paperwork provided for the approved device.
• North Dock: Monitoring trash dump for theft attempts, opening and closing dock doors, tracking out
