Unarmed Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Maintain premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out detailed reports.
• Supervise up to four employees.
• Make weekly schedules.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computers.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Successfully use provided software to annotate events.
• Make regular trips around the property.
• Scan pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team.
• Complete weekly payroll.
• Complete interviews and hiring process for new employees.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Able to handle a light physical workload, including standing and walking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• A reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license.
