This position focuses on ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors during school hours, with an emphasis on traffic control, bus duty, and general campus monitoring. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free. Responsibilities Traffic Control:Direct and manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic during school arrival and dismissal timesAssist parents, students, and staff in crossing areas safelyEnsure traffic rules and school safety protocols are followedSchool Guard Duties:Patrol school grounds to ensure a safe and secure environmentMonitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized accessServe as a visible and approachable presence for students and staffRespond to incidents and report suspicious activity to school administrationBus Duty:Monitor and supervise student loading and unloading during bus arrivals and departuresEnsure students follow safety procedures and maintain order at the bus loopWork collaboratively with bus drivers and school staff Skills Proven experience as security officer or guardKnowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safetyFamiliarity with report writingExcellent surveillance and observation skillsRegistered as a security officerHigh School diploma is required Experience Security: 5 years (Preferred) License/Certification Sora Card (Preferred)
