UMS 6th Grade Language Arts Teacher

Full-time contract position with benefits. Requires a valid educator license and applicable endorsement(s). Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

As a 6th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Uintah Middle School, you will:

• Ensure every student's learning and physical and emotional well-being.
• Help foster a positive school and district culture.
• Improve public support and confidence in the district.
• Ensure financial responsibility in your role.
• Perform all essential job duties and responsibilities.
• Devote time to extra-curricular activities as needed to supervise, plan, and encourage student involvement.

Requirements

• Evidence of a valid educator license and applicable endorsements.
• Undergraduate and graduate transcripts documenting a college degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor (does not have to be current), addressing your skills in working effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Pay

Salary is per the District Teacher/Certified Salary Schedule.
