UMCS Program Manager
Key responsibilities
- Work with customer focal points to drive daily tactical activities.
- Develop strong customer relationship with client and ensure customer satisfaction across all programs.
- Develop and execute corrective action plans when necessary.
- Apply best practices for operational excellence across all contract requirements and initiatives.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Support and lead projects.
- Ensure successful management of the portfolio.
- Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Performance Reviews, and Voice of Customer discussions with our clients.
- Interact with and coordinate functional team, to include Contracts, Project Controls, Subcontracts/Procurement, Legal, Small Business, HR, Safety, and Quality.
- Implement technology improvements such as automation and artificial intelligence (AI) where applicable.
- Cook up and develop process improvement initiatives and portfolio projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in the engineering field or bachelor’s in business from an accredited university with at least 12 years relevant experience in the UMCS/ESS/FAS/SCADA technology field, including five (5) years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity and five (5) years in the functional area of the program to be managed.
- Previous experience managing over 20 employees.
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance within six months of hire.
- U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification.
- Experience in Electronic Security Systems (ESS) field.
- Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- Experience providing operations support into firm fix priced, cost plus, and other type contract bids.
- Experience working with Senior Leadership.
- Experience working with Technical Content.
