Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret ultrasound exams with RDMS accuracy and quality.
- Maintain strict patient safety, infection control, and equipment sanitization.
- Document findings clearly in patient records and communicate results to physicians promptly.
- Demonstrate measurable performance through productivity metrics and target attainment.
- Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Cook up with cross-functional team to optimize patient flow and throughput.
- Continuously pursue professional development and pursue RDMS recertification goals.
- Absorb scheduling, triage, and manage priority cases to maximize pipeline efficiency.
- Ensure proper equipment calibration, quality control, and downtime reporting.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss complex findings and aid in clinical decision-making.
- Educate patients about procedures, benefits, and post-procedure care to enhance experience.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and coordinate with procurement for requisitions.
