Ultrasound Technologist- PRN Atrium Health Cleveland

About the role

Provides ultrasound services as needed. Works in collaboration with Radiologists to perform invasive procedures and ensure high-quality exams.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient
• Assists Radiologist in performance of invasive procedures
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops superior techniques
• Supports Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by contributing to the care team
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel
• Operates Radiology computer system to enter and charge exams and supplies
• Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion
• Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor

Requirements

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S)
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred
• BLS certification required

Pay

$42.00 – $42.00 per hour

Schedule

Work as needed. One major holiday and one minor holiday a year is required.
