About the role
Provides ultrasound services as needed. Works in collaboration with Radiologists to perform invasive procedures and ensure high-quality exams.
Responsibilities
- Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient
- Assists Radiologist in performance of invasive procedures
- Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops superior techniques
- Supports Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by contributing to the care team
- Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel
- Operates Radiology computer system to enter and charge exams and supplies
- Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Adheres to departmental rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor
Requirements
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S)
- Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred
- BLS certification required

Pay
$42.00 – $42.00 per hour
Schedule
Work as needed. One major holiday and one minor holiday a year is required.
