About the role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the “care like family” mission of the hospital. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of Ultrasound Procedures and are responsible for exam protocols that provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
- Have a working knowledge of the life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.
- Assume the responsibility for specified examinations and introduce the basics of ultrasound to the student technologists.
- Be responsible for assessment and treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patients’ needs.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
- Ultrasound Experience Required
- Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound experience required
