Ultrasound Technologist PRN

Role: Ultrasound Technologist PRN, responsible for performing sonography procedures including routine, interventional, vascular, and guided biopsies under limited supervision and radiologist direction. Key Duties: Conduct ultrasound exams, perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and centesis procedures, maintain ultrasound systems, participate in performance improvement, adhere to safety and infection control protocols, and document patient information. Provide care across all age groups and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited radiologic or sonography program, ARRT/ARDMS registry eligibility, ARDMS/RVT registration within 12 months, BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital sonography experience including biopsies. Skills: Technical proficiency with ultrasound systems, teamwork, positive patient interaction, adherence to policies, and safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a healthcare setting.
