Ultrasound Technologist PRN

About the role

Perform sonography procedures including routine, interventional, vascular, and guided biopsies under limited supervision and radiologist direction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound exams across all age groups
• Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and centesis procedures
• Maintain ultrasound systems and ensure proper functionality
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Document patient information accurately
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic or sonography program
• ARRT or ARDMS registry eligibility
• ARDMS or RVT registration within 12 months of hire
• BLS certification
• At least one year of hospital sonography experience, including biopsies
