Ultrasound Technologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine

About the role

Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations, obtaining clinical history and conducting physical assessments to determine appropriate testing protocols. Provides technical interpretations of sonographic and physiologic data to assist physicians in making medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sonographic procedures in various specialties, including Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Breast, and Vascular.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessments to ensure accurate testing.
• Interpret sonographic data to support clinical decision-making.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or hold ARDMS certification.
• Within 1 year of hire, obtain National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential.
• Within 30 days, acquire BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 9 months ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen and OB/Gyn, including clinical rotations; preferred experience in Breast and Vascular.
