About the role
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of five years of experience and ARDMS certification. This role involves independently performing ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnoses, ensuring adherence to radiological standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient information
- Provide patient instructions
- Coordinate with departments
- Maintain quality control of equipment
- Support and train students or technologists (strong leadership and teaching skills required)
- Manage daily operations
- Ensure all areas are properly staffed and supplied
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or related field
- ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Preferred experience as a lead technologist
Skills
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety
- Excellent communication
- Strong organization
- Ability to work independently
- Physical stamina: standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity
Pay
$53.45 to $68.16 per hour
